Born from a father-and-son passion.

Clay Busters was born from a passion that started when Sean Hart was just 12 years old, right here in False Bay, Cape Town.

Sean first picked up a shotgun alongside his father, Andy Hart, at their local clay shooting club. What began as a father-son outing quickly became a lifelong obsession. Under renowned coach Charles Montgomery, Sean refined his technique year after year, eventually becoming an instructor himself and teaching others the sport he loved.

By 19, that dedication paid off. At the 2022 World Clay Shooting Championships, Sean outscored his own mentor by 26 clays.

The following year, the very range Sean and Andy had called home came up for sale. They didn't hesitate. Today, Clay Busters proudly serves the Cape Town clay shooting community from our False Bay shooting grounds.
